Looking for beginner-friendly, white-hat link building tactics I can use right away.

I want practical, low-cost methods that won't put my site at risk: examples like guest posts, broken link outreach, unlinked brand mentions, resource pages, HARO, niche forums, and local citations. For each tactic, a one-line implementation step and what to expect in terms of timeline/results would be great, would be good to hear others opinions on what has worked best for them in their experience.

kinda asking for a lot here :)) but good luck! following the thread in case you get a nice reply

Honestly @pogana6239 half of those "white hat" methods are just pay-to-play now. if you want something you can actually do today for cheap, stick to resource pages and citations. For resource pages, just search google for "niche + inurl:resources", find pages with dead links using a chrome extension, and email them to swap in your link. Expect maybe a 1% conversion rate and it takes a few weeks of follow ups. HARO is pretty much dead now since they changed to connectively and started charging, plus its flooded with ai junk. had a campaign last month that got zero pick ups because of that. For citations, just look up where your top competitors are listed and manually submit to the same ones... takes a weekend and they index in a week or two. Skip guest posting unless you got a budget, everyone wants a "publishing fee" these days anyway.

You could get a Udemy course to link building when it has promotions and the price is sliced by 70-80%. You just pay 10-20$ for a course, study it and apply it.

Guest posts and niche edits honestly beat most of that list for actual results. Niche edits especially you're getting placed in an article that already indexed instead of starting fresh. whatever you pick dont expect to see movement for atleast 30 to 60 days
