Hello everyone,

I’m new to blogging and recently started learning how websites, SEO, and content ranking work. I’ve been going through basic topics like keyword research, on-page SEO, and content structure.

At the moment, I’ve set up a simple blog and started experimenting with a few posts just to understand how things work in real practice. I’m still in the learning phase, especially when it comes to traffic generation and backlinks.

So far, it’s been a slow but interesting experience. I’m trying to improve step by step and understand what actually works in real SEO.

I would really appreciate any tips, suggestions, or guidance from experienced members here.

Thanks in advance!

You're on the right path. Many people try to learn everything first and only then take action. But blogging or even marketing is something you learn more on the job.

Keep reading up material on SEO, keep applying whatever you learn and keep posting content. Give it at least 6 months before even tracking your traffic because things only settle after that. Don't panic and quit in a couple of months.

You’re on the right track with blogging and SEO. Focus on search intent, write helpful content, and target long-tail keywords instead of highly competitive ones. Avoid keyword stuffing and low-quality backlinks. Use internal links, update old posts regularly, and track progress with tools like Google Search Console. Most importantly, stay consistent - SEO takes time, but steady improvement brings results.

You’re already doing the right thing by learning through practice instead of only watching tutorials. My advice would be: focus on publishing consistent quality content, learn basic internal linking, and don’t chase backlinks too early. Try targeting low-competition keywords first and give your posts time to rank. seo is slow in the beginning, but consistency really pays off. Good luck with your journey

As a part of your SEO efforts, find your competitors, see what they're doing and then try to things in a better way. Rest, you're doing things right, keep building on it.

what niche did u pick? honestly that's the biggest factor for new blogs rn. some niches are still doable for beginners, others u basically can't compete without a budget. would help knowing what topic ur blogging about

Good start. You can focus first on writing helpful content around low-competition topics, learning Search Console, and updating posts based on what gets impressions.

My suggestion would be stay consistent with quality content ,focus on low competition keywords, make sure your posts actually help readers. Also don't rush backlinks start with simple methods like guest post, forum participation and social sharing.

Yes keep it up and in start focuse on long tail keywords.give your time to keyword research. Good keywords give you early result which give you motivation.

You're already doing the right thing by testing things yourself instead of only watching tutorials. Focus on publishing helpful content consistently, learning basic keyword intent and improving one thing at a time rather than chasing quick SEO tricks. Backlinks matter, but in the beginning, good content structure and patience are more important. Keep experimenting and tracking what gets impressions in Google Search Console.

You are on the right path. Focus on publishing useful content, learn keyword intent because the right keyword can make a huge difference, and improve the internal linking structure. Don't rush toward backlinks in the beginning. Spend time analyzing sites that already rank in your niche. Stay consistent and track your progress with tools like Google Search Console or Bing Webmaster. SEO takes time, but the long-term results are worth it.

Lots of good suggestions here.

The best advice I can give is to stick at it. It will take longer than you expect, but then something will hit and success will come quicker than you expect.

Biggest tip is don’t obsess over backlinks too early. Just make useful posts consistently and learn how to write stuff people actually search for, because that’s like 80% of beginner SEO. Also Google takes forever sometimes, so don’t panic if your traffic is dead for the first few months.

Start with long-tail keywords and invest time in keyword research. The right keywords bring early wins and keep you motivated.

Focus on creating topical authority on the core topic. Post about the guides, informational articles on your blog & by using this strategy I have seen low DR/DA outranks brand websites always!

Create content and backlinks schedule. Weekly/monthly SEO audits help you fix broken links and content issues. Keep an eye on your rankings to identify reasons for fluctuations.

Diving headfirst into the vast ocean of SEO with a blog nobody will read? Just focus on creating genuinely good content, because the rest is just noise until you have something worth sharing

You could try learning from Udemy courses on the topic when Udemy puts up offers for like 70-80% off (the courses basically cost 10-20$ each) and accelerate your learning that way. Also if you can create blogs with a lot of authority on a certain niche or subject you can lease them to potential clients/customers. That model is called rank to rent.
