Started a clothing company

I remember back when I was starting up a clothing company...

My "friend" decided he wanted to be the big CEO type and spend all of our investment on dates with girls he could never get lol.

So much for trusting someone I thought was a friend haha.

I do plan on starting it back up but not for some time. Have to get my new services up and running before I can focus on my clothing company again lol.

My $0.02 is be sure to have the controlling stake of the company if you're not 1,000% sure you can trust any of your partners.

</rant> :D

I hope everything goes well for you :)

Haha, hope it all goes well when you start it back up! At the moment It's just me on my own, there's probably around 2/3 people I could fully trust but I'd rather keep it simple and stick with just doing it on my own!

@OP I'll create a page so you can see tomorrow.

If you want a look in the interim you need to go to Instagram and check out @thisisarin

Got a central LOndon shoot in a couple of weeks with him, and i'm thinking Dungness.

@OP

Just read post above - I'd love to support a start up. It may cost you a few t shirts (for model) but you'd get some cool images

First of all congrats for starting up a new store. I would suggest you to go for shopify. That's better than woocommerce

Nice OP for finally taking initiative.

If you want to take your product on a test run you should contact some established clothing stores in your area. Not big department stores but independent clothing stores. I know in my area there are at least 3 independent stores that I could talk to about giving a shirt some shelf space. Of course, there would be some commission involved.

Im very interested in what your designs look like. Do you mind talking with me over a PM? One of my friends also designs clothing and he sells impressive numbers. I can run your designs past him if you're looking to sell shirts out here in California.

Good that you finally took a step ahead. Woo commerce's requirements are bit more user friendly. Setting up is easy for a starter like you.

Best of luck for your success even i am seeing for that chance but not the factory my thinking is different any ways good luck with your sales and exchanges.
cheers

I have just literately went through the same thing. Mr Hotshot (My former buddy) blew through 1k on skydiving, dinner, and a hotel. I had to buy him out.

Best of Luck OP. I find twitter has made a ton of sales for me, but thats my experience.

I'm in a similar position, and running a clothing company through Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. It's proving difficult generating an audience, but I will get there eventually.

Did you the design the tees?
cool project I've been wanting to do the same thing for a while now too!
Good Luck!
