    Hi,

I'd like to start blogging with Wordpress... using rss (fresh html content), adsense, affiliation and probably selling some of my digital products using PayPal... any suggestion?

I don't know if I want to support more languages... is it better to install it on /en for English, /it for Italian, /ru for Russian, etc.?

How to improve SEO and SECURITY with the best softwares and plugins working with the latest version 2.8.4... (I know there is also WP-Padlock PRO working with version 2.7...)?

To avoid ranking problems, I would like to start with a definitive strategy and not changing all the time...

    Thanks.
    Falcon2600 :)

I have several Wordpress sites. There are a lot of SEO, adsense and e-commerce plugins that make running a site easy. The problem isn't what's on the backend, you have to put out good content.

Why would you need improved security? What do you have to hack if you are just running feeds and selling a digital product post-sale. Inherently, Wordpress has their product pretty tight as long as you update all the time.

Selling your digital products using a payment gateway like Paypal is relatively easy. Post your product, provide a "buy it" button, the visitor pays for your product and are delivered to a finalization page where they can download the digital product. Then there are some plugins that help you create a catalog setup for your products as well, most aren't free.

As for ranking, just put out good content with lots of tags and keywords that target your desired audience. Stay niche-oriented and you should be ok. Get your site listed on other blogs and threads on other sites by submitting logical responses to posts and leaving a link to your site--I went up in rank fast this way for my niche market. Submit articles to the popular article sites that point back to your site.

There's so much more to SEO and ranking strategies, but that should get you rolling. Wordpress rocks.
