Okay, here's a legit "paypal moneymaker" of sorts, since it's kind of passive once set up, and doesn't involve paying for hosting, sales or conversions to work.
1) Create a free blog on Wordpress or Blogspot, etc. Give it a catch-all, snappy but dignified title, like "News Trends Today" or such that isn't already taken.
2) Create free accounts with paid ad type accounts that pay even beginners $5 or more per 1,000 ad impressions (visitors) to your page. Paid link shorteners, CPM text ads or banner ads, or non-CPA pay per download sites (that pay per 1,000 downloads). You could even try a CPC (Adsense or alternative) or two. You could also have more than one free blog where different configurations of the ad programs, to split test which ones are more effective.
3) All of the above can take 1-2 days to arrange. Another thing to do is get familiar with sites like SimilarWeb, to measure how much monthly traffic sites have. The ones you want to pay attention to are those with hundreds of thousands, or millions of visitors, with active engagement (e.g., lots of blog or forum comments).
4) Now start daily commenting. The pattern could be: a-Find a hi-traffic site, pick the most provocative new article(s) featured from the home page, confirm it's taking comments. b- Go to a search engine, find 3 or so results with similar content on the same story/topic. c-Copy/paste the first paragraphs to a page on your blog, simple-Simon curation style. d-Add 3-4 of the ad links to monetize the post (or the PPD, zip some related PLR or expired domain content into a single file). e-Then go back to the hi-traffic site, add your comment with link.
5) Presuming you did this right (and there are other variations on these steps), you should be getting a thousand or more visitors to this contextual content page, thus at least $15 (from the ads) per each comment with link. Or $150 from 10 such comments, or... scale to whatever you want to from daily posting. It'll be harder to call the comments spam, since the destination url has related content. But the visitors pay you when they land on your blog page, so you get benefit even if they don't buy anything. Next day or so, find new articles, rinse, repeat. Next/each month, collect your money via Paypal or whatever.
