Start Having Some Respect For People!

It's starting to annoy me when I go through threads to help out new and inexperienced Members, and all I see is "reputable" Members calling them "noobs" and "retards".

Don't forget at one point you were in that person's exact shoes.

Just because you have now got some thanks and rep doesn't give you the right to start making fun of others.

It's bad karma, and it turns away other reputable Members as well.

I personally refuse to work with people who insult others, and there's many people out there like me.

So start having respect for your fellow BHW Members!

Well said.. I have to admit that there have been a few times I've refrained from asking a question because of that exact reason.

And don't forget the people with 0-2 posts who start flaming. Is that their way of making a name or something? It's a disgrace (to them)

I usually read the shit out of a subject and then if I REALLY have to I ask a question. I'm a hardware guy, I work in a datacenter but you don't see too many of those questions here.

This is the exact reason why I don't ask questions here. If I can't find what I'm looking for, then I go elsewhere. I try to help where I can, but the atmosphere here isn't conducive to asking for any help, not when there is a better than good chance that you are going to get flamed for your efforts.

And that is a damn shame. This is an outstanding forum, but its usefulness gets diminished by a few who think it makes them bigger people when they flame others just for the thrill of it.

People shouldn't have to be afraid of asking questions because they think they'll get flamed.

It's the internet marketing world, and EVERYONE needs help with something, so they shouldn't have to get flamed for it.

If you spend the time reading through the forums and trying to learn something, then I don't think anyone is going to flame you. I think that when people ask genuine questions, there is an overwhelming response from other members wanting to help.

The only time anyone is really going to get flamed is when they sign up and immediately start posting questions like how do I make money, or Help Me, Please threads. The only thing you can tell people like that is to start reading through all the existing threads. Those are the people that are called noobs. People like you understand that those questions have already been answered. Is everyone supposed to just start reposting every method in the forum into every noobie Help Me thread?

It doesn't work that way, That is the difference between a noob and a newbie member. Most new members understand that before posting questions or starting threads, they need to do the same thing as you, me and just about every other member have done. Which is start reading the threads that are already here to learn the information already provided and then ask specific questions when you need something clarified.

There is so much information on this forum that unless the newbie member is already an experienced marketer with something to contribute to the forum, there is little reason for them to make any posts during the first few days or even weeks of joining other than maybe in the introduction forum, and there is virtually no reason for them to start a new thread asking for general untargetted help.

People like you that have searched for and read the information already provided are going to have questions that are worth hearing. You've been around long enough to know the type of questions that are worth getting answers to. People like you should never feel unwelcome to ask questions, the kind of questions your likely to ask, are the ones that will get additional information that all of us can use.

well I don t like calling people names but there is some people that they don\t undrestand that before you ask something look for an answer yourself FIRST.
how many threads we have about how to get accepted in CPA networks , How to get an Adsense account , How you can run autoblogs, where you can host autoblogs , how to do backlinks , how to promote your site , how you use FB to market and the list goes on
but people love to ask the same question over and over again ...
if someone come with a question that has not been asked before in here , for sure a lot of people will help him ...but if you ask something like how long does it take to receive my check from this network or what is twitter or Amzon ..or what s a CPA network ... for sure people will call him names because no one want to waste his time in here !

It is great to show your interest on some subjects and you want to learn but nobody will come and spoon feed you the informations . you need to look around ...sometimes a simple search at google will do .
I m not an expret or anything but I always mange to find my answers by myself and it is not hard .
If you can find answers and you run ro people to ask for simple things how the do you want to run a business !!! Seriously , if are serious about making money online you need to strat to look for answers to your questions not ask them to somebody else .

I understand your point, Grey Wolf, and I appreciate your candor.

While it is true that almost everyone here is more than willing to help when they can, my point is, that there are a select few people (I will not mention any names) who seem to think that every post is an opportunity to flame, no matter whether the question being asked is valid or not. It seems their sole existence is to make snide comments, or just generally belittle everyone they can, I suppose for the sheer pleasure of it. When it continues from these same people unabated, it makes the new people, with valid questions, think "Wow, here's a regular member getting flamed, what are they going to do to me if I ask anything?"

I agree that we can not continue to rehash the same questions over and over. I also agree that some of the newbies arriving here need to take the time to use the search feature before asking questions. All I am saying is, they can be told to go search for what they ask, but be civil about it.

We seem to be getting a lot of new arrivals, for whom English is not their first language, and they simply may not be grasping what they are reading. While I am no fan of spoon-feeding or hand-holding, they may only be looking for clarification of something they don't understand. A little patience would go a long way, but that seems to be a rare commodity.

But, if they continue to ignore the search feature, then, yes, they are fair game. I have no patience for lazy people myself.

Maybe its just me, but it seems the level of civility, and professional camaraderie, has declined somewhat in the time I have been a member here. And I hate seeing that happen to such a great place to learn from.

I personally don't see flaming happen that often (Maybe mods are too fast for me). But in most cases where there is flaming involved, You only have to read the thread title :

"How should I invest my $5000"
"I will pay you $2000 to give me a WORKING $100 a day method"
"Please tell me a working method to make just $50 a day"

And etc. These deserve to get flamed. I can honestly say, it is very very rare for someone to ask an actual legitimate question and then still get the book thrown at them :

"How do i block my home IP on Google Analytics"
"How do I import the Maxmind IP database"
"Anyone know how to bulk text?"

I mean these are all legitimate questions. If you are begging for money just outright, then no one will help you. Regardless of the forum.

Part of the problem is that alot of people come on here with no knowledge of seo, Im, social media then come in and start begging for handouts. I was treated like pure garbage when i was a noob. I was sent to porn website for links. Told to screw off then get banned for not knowing anything. I worked up untill now and all these guys want me to spoon feed it to them.

Also alot of people are lazy and want me to do it for them. I think that is stupid and shouldnt be allowed.

But yes some people are trolling and need to quit. Try to be nicer, or just ignore the post and move on.

I don't mind helping people out, but you can't expect all of us to simply give our time to help others who post:

If someone asks a question, and you don't feel like answering it, then you should move on.

It's like the saying goes "if you have nothing nice to say then don't say anything".

This is not DP. If you are such a good samaritan and wish to help retards then good for you. Problem is that lately the forum has been invaded by people who:

a) post random shit without reading the forum's rules
b) post stupid questions that have been asked and answered 100 times before
c) Think this forum is some sort of support website for cpa lead issues
d) Jump in with some pathetic story about how life has trated them like crap and they need to earn 1000 bucks by next week
d) post ramdom crap in forums that have nothing to do with their thread (asking an adsense question in the FB forum)
e) post something that has been posted 3 times already in the last hour (like all those PR update threads)
f) have 1 lousy post and are already asking for stuff in the request forum
g) all of the above

I call posters that act like n00bish retards n00bs and retards. The ones that genuinely want to learn, I help out as much as I can.

@Bobbylove321 - In the past few days, I have personally removed a lot of junk and fluff posts. I have left the threads live, and the ban reason in the thread to educate users about the rules and the level of acceptable posting on BHW. I started taking this action due to 50% of posts in the Money Making and Craigslist section being either complete junk or against the rules of the forum.

Lets Review the most recent bans/thread titles - NOT FOR THE SAKE OF DISCUSSION, but for the sake of perspective:

1. Cracked Xrumer Download (Virus)
2. Facebook C&D (Cpableed link)
3. Does anyone know how to make money on Facebook (2 line thread asking is it possible and if so please teach me)
4. How would you like to get $10 for free (ref spam)
5. Make 1 Million a Week (hacking/illegal)
6. Craigslist Poster (known scammer advertising his services)
7. Easy Money For Newb StartUp Funds (ref spam, sitespam, wrong section - and all for $20 a day)
8. Looking for partners (known scammer posting fake services in the CL section)
9. How to make money im a newbie (i'm new to this forum teach me how to make a 'shitload' of money)
10. Please help me to earn (hi its my first day here, and i'd like to make money, tell me how)

Thats just my 10 most recent bans from yesterday. Some were short 1-14 day bans, some were perm bans.

BHW will accept and help newbies, and as you correctly pointed out, we were all newbs once. However this is free site, moderated by for free by a dedicated and hardworking staff. We have rules in place to keep the quality levels of posts high, and the junk to a minimum. It shows GREAT disrespect and arrogance when a new member to this forum doesnt bother to read a few threads and find out what is acceptable in terms of quality. If you want to be a part of a community, make sure you understand whats acceptable in that community, before you start typing. If you are disrespectful to me or the forum that I work so hard to keep clean - I reserve the right to call you an idiot for abusing the worlds best IM forum. Similarly if you are so lazy that you cannot do a quick search, or in most cases just check the other active topics on page one, what other assumption can I possibly make other than the poster is lazy, stupid, or doesnt give a dahm about the other users in the community.

There is more.

In the absense of someone calling these people out and leaving behind an example for others to follow, the quality in general will decrease over time. This is simple cause and effect, if a new member sees a one line 'plz help me' type thread, its a fair assumption on their part that this is acceptable on BHW.

This degrades the reputation of BHW far more than calling someone an idiot for not following the rules, scamming, or being lazy.

Personally........

I work full time at IM, and this business is not the same as working in any other IT field. Sadly in the rest of the world, its become incorrect to call someone an idiot when they clearly are an idiot. I'm going to continue calling out people for abusing the privilege of access to BHW. If you cant respect the awesome ability this site has to make millionaires - and post by the SIMPLE guidelines, frankly you are a retard.

As for turning away newbies - I saw the exact same standard being applied when I joined this forum, it didnt scare me away, nor did it scare away the 1000's of new members who in the same timeframe have become active and APPRECIATED users. This standard caused me to respect BHW even more, as no BS was being tolerated.

All we ask for is that you follow the rules, and when you post make sure it has *some* quality. If you refuse to do that, my gloves are off.

By enforcing this - BHW demonstrates that its not just another crappy wannabe forum, or a newb only forum, rather its the number one forum.

Oh and BTW OP, I have helped 100's of users start making money on line - thats my duty after all the help I have received. Unlike you, I didnt ask that it be done via PM or by joining my group. My help was given in public for everyone.
