Hi
I have the task of establishing a SEO department in an well established web agency.
Questions presented with 2 scenarios.
Normally I would use this resource to do an full audit and create an SEO proposal. Google search "How to Perform the World's Greatest SEO Audit'
Scenario 1
I'm instructed to create standard SEO package that we can forward to clients who only inquire about SEO. We don't want to be spending time doing an audit and then they decline an SEO Package. From my experience you cannot draw up a SEO strategy without doing an SEO audit, that is just too risky.
I spent at least 6 hours doing the audit and then creating the strategy, perhaps I am taking too much time, but you have to thorough.
What commons factors can I include in an standard SEO package?
You will always have clients you can sort of guess that they will not have enough SEO budget but they are still going to ask you to do an SEO proposal.
Scenario 2
Currently I have to create an SEO proposal for an client but I am not allowed to do a full audit as it will take to much time. I am also required to give time allocation to the SEO activities that should be applied on this specific client and it has to be as accurate as possible.
Please let me know what you think, obv there are two mindsets in play here, an SEO strategist and a business owner of the web agency looking to expand their services by offering SEO.
Thank you.

- How can I do a quick analysis of a website to determine an SEO Strategy that will last for 4 months.
- I reckon the focus areas will be broken down into;
- on-site
- off-site
- link building
- social media
