Im on the first page for my offer at spot 7. The page is pretty seo optimized. Ive got about 3000 backlinks. The two sites above me actually have a little less links to their domain. I keep making backlinks, adding articles, social bookmarking etc, but I cant seem to move up the ladder.

I was wondering if anyone had experience with this and any suggestions how to move up.

Thanks

Well just keep building and you will raise. Other than that you could see if adding few articles speed it up any.

I'm on the same boat. Stuck at 7 for weeks now. I keep adding articles and bl, but I'm not moving.

Just wait it out. Sometimes making too many changes may hurt your position.

Also try to manually comment on high PR sites, the higher the better. If you haven't already use these, try using docstoc, digg and other sites such as this. I've had some good results with these.

Hmm, I would like to know if there is any other answer to this thread because I am stuck in a similar position. I've been stuck at #5 and ive blown my competitors aways in terms of quantity AND quality backlinks. Should I keep posting articles, bl, or just wait it out??

I used to use sites like docstoc and scribd, but lately it seems impossible to get a live link in there. Is there a way around this?

Why don't you use one of the services offered by other BHW members and have a network of web 2.0 sites built to boost your rankings. Or do it manually yourself. I'm finding that blog comments and profile links aren't doing jack shit lately for competitive keywords.

I've been having the best luck with using ideas from link push and link pyramid with my own twists to it that are giving me the best results. I pushed up my parents site recently in a very competitive MLM niche to position 3. Only the company and a competitor above them and the competitor's site is 5 years older and has 3 times the links. But I plan on knocking them off in time.
