Hi, regarding affiliate marketing: I need to find a STABLE traffic source. That means once I found a profitable compaign I want to be sure, that nothing will happen with the traffic over time. It shall not get worse, or less, or something else not desirable. My first thoughts are: a SINGLE traffic source like fb or youtube/ google might be better, because in this one source probably not so much can happen. But when you go to an ad network, this network is giving you traffic from many different sources. So there are more variables, which you cannot control. So, changes may occur faster and you cannot do much against it. My thoughts are right? Any other ideas which traffic source stays stable over time?

There is no traffic source that will always be stable because there are too many variables. You have to start with one and move to the second as soon as possible. Once you have 3-5 traffic sources figured out you can be pretty much safe if, for example, one or more don't perform for whatever reason for a week/month.

what is with youtube ads? why can the traffic change?

Do not rely on single traffic source because it is dies in future, you will not be in a pleasant situation.

you are in a SEO forum, go to an affiliate marketing forum -.-

If you really want to find fast and good traffic, I can advise you on Megapu.sh. Their traffic is cheap and very high quality, especially since there are a lot of them there. It’s worth a look if you really want a good option.

I've been running push notifications ads for well over a year now and I've been really successful with it - did 6 figures last year. Not much has changed since then, push ads are still very reliable, newbie-friendly, highly scalable and relatively simple. Someone above said you can't rely on 1 traffic source. Well, there are evergreen guys, who master 1 traffic method and do it for years. Other affiliates always go with trends.

Generally last year's the hottest traffic source was push notifications ads, this year it's native ads.

Both pop and adult traffic sources are very stable. They are also very affiliate friendly

With networks, that is impossible. With search engines like Google/Bing, it's achievable.

You're wrong. I've had pop campaigns run for years without so much as adjusting bids. If the traffic source is on your side and it's hard to spy, your campaigns will last a long time

On internet, THERE IS NOTHING STABLE. Everything will change with time even Google and Amazon and big companies' policies. There is only one thing we can do and that's EXPERIMENT only.

If that's the case I really do recommend you to buy something like direct media buys anyway for anything you really just achieved, they should be stable like hell if done correctly but you need to be able to make new ads every possible time on it.

Well, after years you EXPERIMENT, you gain EXPERIENCE, than even if there are changes, you can most likely adapt.

and i don't mean you can suddenly change a de rank done by google update. experience will tell you what is reliable, and for example google is the least reliable, unless its paid traffic.

Mega.click very good advertising network, tou can try it, high quality traffic

I don't think such traffic sources exist. But if you find any, please do let us know here. We all have been looking for that perfect source

Paid ads are the only form of stable traffic & eats a lot $$$

Personal choice that I'm using for over 6-7 years now (for eCom primarily, though) - paid Facebook Ads and/or Google Ads. Stable? No, since there's no such thing. Do I get what I expect based on my needs - yes, 80% of the time I get quality traffic with cold audience buying from my stores. I'm a big fan of making sure that I know my stuff in few areas rather than trying 10 different sources and having my head burned out from all these "opportunities".

There is no such thing as stable in affiliate marketing. But you can try pinterest ads, snapchat ads & qoura ads. Linkedin ads is also on the rise. Just pick one of these whichever suits your offer needs.
