Hi everyone,
i still don't get if i can purchase a certificate ssl and install it on my ecommerce websites even if i don't own any company.

In cPanel, i need to load a .csr file which requires your company name. so the anwser might be no, but i think there are many other plans which provide you a certificate without owning anything. Am i correct?

To get the SSL you require the CSR key, which requires an organization name, and this name it is mentioned should be legally registered in your state.

The company name should be the name under which your business is legally registered.

Please be informed that if you are in a shared server, then you will need to get a dedicated IP for your account to install ssl

If your taking in Personally identifiable information, Cloudflare won't cut it. They only secure from the user to Cloudflare, not from Cloudflair to your server.
Like Automation247 said Let Encrypt is the best option.
I'm not sure why people think you need a real company when your buying a cert, thats just flat out wrong. Just put the name of your website. When your buying a domain validated cert they issuer is only making sure you have control of the domain.
If you want an Extended Validation cert like the one your bank has then and only then will you need have a company of some sort.

If you don't want to use Lets Encrypt I would suggest Namecheap

You don't need a real company, find a host that will do lets encrypt
