SSL Certificate link to Facebook

Hi all

I am building a local business directory website using a WordPress plugin. This plugin links to a Facebook fan page so you can view it their too.

I believe I will need a SSL certificate to link from my hosting to Facebook. Is there a way to by pass this as it it is $60?

Do you have access to your server at the root level? If so check in the options in WHM, some will allow you to make your own SSL certs.

Check Hostgator hosting. It is included in their highest plan. Also it is there in there other plans but it is shared ssl
