Squidoo ranks and general serps

Despite the Squ doo slagging in this thread I noticed with shock that a lens reached the bottom of page 1 in GG land!!!! Good right? Might be a good sign? or after a new GGLand sweep...

Took about 4 weeks and a few backlinks.

In other news.

I wrote an article on the London show Thrill er live ( its an MJ show )
overnight I was indexed 7th in the GGLand results? Does this just mean that the keyphrase "th r il ll er liv e review" is not competative?

Squidoo is a good web 2.0 property and it is just as likely to rank well as any other property.

I have had good success too with Squidoo, but you need to make sure that you remember that your lens is just like any other webpage - you need to promote it if you are expecting results.

@Micallef... I am impressed with your knowledge. I have decided to "stalk you" and follow you around in this forum LOL. I I think you are probably much farther ahead of many here and give out bits and pieces as to what works. If you say it works, and someone else says it's old hat and no good anymore...I'm going with you.
