I've created a nice lense at Squidoo with unique and original content. The lense was published but there is following code in the page:
Code:
<meta name="robots" content="noindex, nofollow">
so my web 2.0 have no value at all :( how to make Squidoo lense d0follow ?

Even no-follows have a great deal of value.

You need diversity in your backlinks and with backlinks from a high-PR, even with no-follow is useful...makes you look more organic.

I just checked my lenses and don't see that meta tag at all. I even have non-no-followed links in the body of my lens. (My web 2.0s DO have value.)

Try building up your profile some more (participate in some other lenses by commenting, etc.) and make sure to fill out that lens as much as possible. Add a video, have a few text modules, put a table of contents, etc. Make it totally awesome and non-spammy. (Make it a really valuable web resource.)

I don't have that code either.

What's the status of your lens in your dashboard? Is it work-in-progress? I'm not sure if WIP status lenses aren't indexed, yet. Just like LowBrow said above, participate in within the squidoo community so that people will like and comment on your lens. Or, if you have another account, login to that account and like the lens you want to become "featured lens" or comment on it as well. But, the best thing to do is to become socially engaged.

Squidoo noindexes lenses that they think are low quality and spammy, mostly to try to stop people like you from building lots and lots of properties.

It stinks but there isn't much you can do about it besides increasing the quality of your lenses.

good move on their part. saves you time. No point in making crappy properties. Build something amazing that will last for the long-haul!

I read somewhere that Squidoo is noindex, nofollow unless you get 20 squidoo likes and have 100% finished lense.

What are you thinking? His is a new lens with PR N/A. And again, More organic? Common...

To OP -- Read by the Squidoo rules. I think they will hold on the nofollow tag for quite sometime. Try editing the Lens after a week. I am not too sure with their rules but BigFish might be right.
