Hi.

Here I am to ask something again.
:o
I always hear this squido and hubpages being use to promote affiliates or even blogs.

I know blogspot allow you to "make money" on them by putting adsense or affiliates...

But wordpress.com doesn't allows you to do so...

But I still read ppl using it...
This is where I don't understand.

Can someone please enlighten me what's the useness of wordpress in affiliates marketing?

Sorry if this was a noob question. :cow_yello

Wordpress.org, the self-hosted version, is what people refer to on this forum.

Is it?
but when they said, "FREE" method, so I assume it is wordpress.com.
I never get my hand on this except using it's api for my self hosted blog.

If it about wordpress.org, I am a wordpress theme and plugins coder myself.
I use wordpress for all my websites, they are really good and flexible in terms or customization.

not a noob question, i use wp to create dummy sites and then link to my other sites to pass link juice

the reason why ppl like to use wp and blog is because of the high page rank and google index those sites faster compared to your new sites

do a little reading on backlinks and you will be on your way :D

Oh... I see...

So, it's not for direct approach like those YA, squido or Hubs...

I understand the concept now. :)

Squido, Hubs, and many other web 2.0 sites are also used for the same purpose of passing link juice from high ranking pages.

You should read up on Linkwheels to learn more.

linkwheel... that's new word to me...

BTW guys, when you create this wp blog, you create new email for it?
Or just create new blog under the same account?

You should not use your primary email.

Create a new email just to sign up for all the web 2.0 sites, then abandon it. A very good beginners guide on linkwheels can be found here:
Code:
http://lemonarian.com/linkwheel
but you have to enter an email (not sure if they verify it). Also, a good spot to get temp emails for signing up at the web 2.0 sites is:
Code:
http://10minutemail.com
although sometimes it has glitched out on me and not delivered the mail, so watch out. May be better to use yahoo, gmail, etc.

What can I do to my hubpages become ********? They all are less than 75 points...

Once again, you being so helpful.
Thank you very much.
I also have already give you a thanks using thanks button.
:D

Squidoo, hubpages and wordpress are the top performing web 2.0 services. Google will readily rank them if you supply good content and a few backlinks.

You can put affiliate links on all of these platforms, thus creating additional money sites. With wordpress, you will need to mask your aff links using tinyurl.

Wordpress and squidoo are worthy backlink sources but hubpages is weaker, as it is nofollow for new users. However, it tends to rank the best. All 3 are worthy of having a linkwheel built around them in their own right.

Tinyurl eh?
Thanks for the tips...

Beside these three web 2.0 services, is there any other that are worth to work on with?

How blogspot?

Also, consider bit.ly as a "small" URL. It is less used and I've had really good luck with it (not to mention using their API too!)

I've download and read the lemorian linkwheel strategy.

It's very good.
I'm impressed with it.(As I never know about it before.)

Now guys...

I'm stuck at how to do a keyword research...

At the moment...
I'm trying to promote clickbank product.

Here's how I do it, but I'm not sure if I do it the right way.

1. Find a product.
2. View it's pitch page.
3. Harvest keywords from the pitch page using google adword keyword tool...
4. Check for high volume searched keywords.
5. Check the serp to find out how many result returns when we enter the keyword.
6. Count the ratio between the search result and the searched value.
7. Check google sponsors link on how many adword players using this keyword... The more, indicate this keyword is good and should also targetting this keyword.

Tell me where I'm wrong please?
