Squid o Hubs?

Lol that's a pretty specific question, hubpages ranks better in my opinion but squidoo I can get looking a lot more professional...

I think both ranks well if you write good content and optimize them well! Use which you want!

After squidoo was slapped it becam a lot harder to rank. It requires a lot more content and relevance. Hubpages get ranked a lot faster and better to me.

I've done a lot of marketing and I can tell you a hubpage has more weight and is going to rank over even a pretty well optimized squidoo lense.

lowboman is right that hubpages can get better PR than squidoo do but did you tried zimbio or wetpaint if you need good rank

squidoo is dying IMO.

I have over 170 lenses on squidoo now and I'm starting to see that. Piece of crap, I spent hours and hours on it. Haven't built a lens in a few weeks now because it really just isn't worth my time anymore.

hubpages is way better than squidoo, but ya lowbowman is right knol is the future

Squidoo rankings are unstable. I created a lens on a decent long-tail keyword and it got to the front page of Google within 2 hours! Next day, nowhere to be seen and it's been ranking all over the place since. I think that HubPages could rank better because they have a hubscore system by where you need a certain score to get your links have nofollow removed. Squidoo, all links are ******** so maybe the search engines prefer HubPages approach?

I just try out a Knol. I was wondering, can we use Knol as in we use Squidoo? To promote affiliate or to sell? Will we get ban?

Anybody has good experience with Knol?

My vote goes to...Hubpages...those babies rank better and stick much better to me...

Lens have never really worked out for me...but I haven't made a hub or lens in a couple months so...yeah... :)

SQUIDOO FTW,

- Lens look more professional than hubpages hands down.
- If ranked right you can get far more traffic internally than Hubpages

use both man. Link them to each other :)

Don't use reciprocal linking. It may works back to few years ago, during the period of "AdSense Goldrush".

However, I doesn't really work out today. It's better that you build one-way non-reciprocal linking. Either you link squidoo to hubpages, or hubpages to Squidoo. Don't use "both-direction linking/reciprocal linking".

Choose one (either Squidoo/Hubpages/Wetpain/Other Web 2.0 site) as your main site/money site that can get most of the link juice.

I personally recommend that you choose your money site depend on what keyword you what to rank, and which web 2.0 site your competitor is not ranking so well.
