Squeezes on ClickBank

Hey boys and girls,
I'm new to AM and I have a question. I've seen some products on ClickBank that have high gravity and popularity but on their landing page, it's a free report email signup. (Which will follow on with more emails from the vendor to the customer) How do you profit from that? Since it's not CPA, don't you just get impressions than sales?

Technically the emails they send out should contain your hoplink so you would still get paid when/if they purchase through the email.

i'm not sure but they may send emails in order to sell their product... but with HIS affiliate link, even they own the product.
so you may earn nothing...
PS: i'm not sure, just a possiblity...
