Squeeze Page versus Content Lock

Hello,

I've been reading on the BHW forum for countless hours, but I want to launch my first project today! I've spend some time learning about coding, and I know pretty much everything about HTML, CSS and a bit PHP.

I've been overwhelmed by methods, but I have managed to narrow it down to two methods; Squeeze page and Content lock.

Squeeze page;

♦ Find a high converting Clickbank product
♦ Have 7 day email autoresponder series
♦ Buy host + domain
♦ Make a entice visitors to opt-in to your squeeze page
♦ Focus on buying traffic
♦ Split-testing

Content lock;

♦ Find a populair product that has just been released / will release soon
♦ Buy host + EDM domain (freeproduct.c*o*m / winproduct.c*o*m)
♦ Create a landing page where you can play a free lottery to win the product
♦ Put content lock on it
♦ Make youtube video's, focus on getting them high
♦ Use black hat SEO tools to rank it high in google.

What do the more experienced members suggest?

i like squeez pages, Affiliates always gives more money than Content Locking

Edit: When going for a squeez page, should I also get a EDM domain and work on the SEO, or just focus on buying target trafic?
