Hey guys, i don't know if this is possible or not, but i somehow need to gather intelligence on who is supplying some of my competition. I've tried the stalking method to see delivery vans come & go, problem is most items are delivered by courier companies and even though the drivers were willing to give up the info as to where the goods were coming from unfortunately it didn't say on the boxes (account number only), their paper work didn't list a sender as well. Only one of the deliveries i managed to pay the driver £50 & got info of a supplier but not for something i was really after!!

I've looked up private investigators but the fees are astronomical!!!

I've scoured the net, yellow pages, wholesale lists, tradeshows etc etc etc but simply can't find competitive suppliers.

So this leaves me with 2 choices, either break in and look at their supplier invoices WHICH i am NEVER going to do!!! Or the only other way is to somehow gain access to their computers via spyware or trojan......i don't want to get any other data from their pc's only just the websites visited and access to files.......i know it is on the opposite of the law, but.......

    Is it possible?

Just follow the delivery truck to see where it is coming from.

Haha, Caesar's idea could work. I think you may have more options than you think. By brother's friend recently got accepted on the TUF reality show and they took away his friend's cell phone. In order to get in touch with is friend, my brother found out the hotel that he was staying at and called the front desk pretending to be a producer for the show. They then put him through to his friend. I think if you start thinking along these lines you might find a solution very quickly :)

Even if you know the supplier that wouldn't mean you would get the same pricing.

There is a thread someone was kind enough to post here with a massive list of wholesalers. Maybe you should start going through that and see if you can find some leads that way. You might get lucky and be able to work out a deal that is ever better than your comp.

You might also be able to network a little on Linkdin and other such sites and get som leads that way.
