Does anybody know how much one can find out about affiliates to a Clickbank product? I always see affiliate leaderboards for current launches and I'm wondering how those guys got there. What did they do? PPC, SEO, Emails? Which keywords did they target? Which ad copy did they use? Is there a method to find out this stuff?

Is it an internet marketing or biz op type offer? If so, they probably already have an email list they mail the affiliate offer to, in which case there is no PPC or SEO. Just straight email.

If you are looking for a good tool to track PPC, there are a ton out there but one I'd recommend is SpyFu. But remember, there are a lot of tools out there that do the same or similar stuff. You can see all of their PPC ads, see how long they have been running, etc. Basically, you can reverse engineer what they are doing, and beat them at their own game.

I'm not sure if that helps answer your question. I hope it helps, even a little.

It actually does help a little. I guess most internet marketers make it on those lists by emailing to their customers.

But assuming I want to spy on their PPC ads: How do I find out which keywords they are bidding on if I neither know their affiliate link nor their landing pages' URL?

Get on their mailing list and wait for them to start sending you stuff. Look up their email IP, Website IP and start reverse engineering their sites.
