spun content just doesn't work

you first say u ranked sites with spun content but u said this doesn't work with adsense what does that mean?

Well...first things first...

Last time I checked the purpose of a PBN is to get a link to your money site. As long as the content is contextual for the subject, I can't see why you would care about the so-called "quality"...

Next...I have talked about content on here multiple times. Here's one post I did:

Content is for users/visitors. Period. If you want them to read it, fine. Personally I only want them to click on my ads so the content is meaningless to me. If you're building lists and relationships, then by all means write that good content till the cows come home. I'm just interested in getting them AS FAST AS POSSIBLE to the products/services they want to buy. STRUCTURE of content matters. Quality doesn't mean shit. CONTENT IS NOT KING.

You guys do not understand math. It is currently IMPOSSIBLE for google to "calculate" whether your content is "quality" or not. With the algo that is. The processing power needed to do that for EVERY piece of content online is astronomical. I will not explain it. It is what it is. Yes, I know they use "on site experience" a.k.a. "What's your bounce rate", but that is EASILY manipulated. OF COURSE, if your site is MANUALLY REVIEWED, that reviewer can see your shitty content and nail you.

SEO TIP OF THE DAY: Stay under the radar and don't go after high competition niches and you will do AWESOME with even the SHITTIEST of content.

I speak from experience. I have DOZENS of sites using 100% Spun Content. These are MONEY sites...YES I SAID "MONEY" SITES.

As I said above...If all you're looking for is a click on a link, then you don't need "quality" content. STRUCTURE matters. Quality doesn't...UNLESS you are trying to create a long term relationship with the visitor, you ABSOLUTELY can rank just as well with crappy content vs. "quality". For organic rankings, LINKS ARE KING. Not content.

For those of you who are newbies...NO this does not work with Adsense...That ended about 6 years ago!

I don't have solid proof, just that the links that i used spun content doesn't give me better result than the one i use unique content. I won't be stupid testing 2 sites which are different matric.
I think the real matter is the QUALITY of your spun content.

If you're just taking any related article, and auto-spinning that mofo then yea, you'll get shit results.

But if you manually spin it; I'm talking sentence spinning, paragraph spinning, re-position of paragraphs,
synonyms, slang, keyword alterations, etc, then you're bound to get better results.

Flat out saying that "Spun content does not work" is the same as those stupid threads saying that "XXX is dead".

And where exactly are these "tests" you've performed? Wheres the case study, results, keywords, etc?

Where's the proof at? Anyone can say that unique content is better, which it always will be, but wheres you're proof claiming spun content doesn't work?

You must have done something wrong, because it works...

yes, unique content performs well, I use spun content only for tire 2 or 3 links.

It depends on various factors . What type of contents you have? I saw spun content works good in many cases but not in all . It also depends on your methods and tricks.

@OP: If something didn't work for you, that doesn't mean the results would be the same for others. Also it depends on the quality of the content as well. I always suggest 90% unique content for 1st tier links, that doesn't matter if its rewritten/ spun etc.. point is content should be unique.

Yep, +1 for unique content - especially for tier 1. If it's handwritten, even better.

use social media to drive traffic, simply because no one on this site, knows correct seo only google knows since panda. Amazon publish 200,30k copied content every day and they dont get penalised.

I've tested and I dare to say than unquie content is way better than spun content. I'm not sure how it perform in web 2.0 but for pbn, I strongly recommend u to use unique content. I tested many post of pbn using spun content, the result just isn't as great compared to using unique content.

Funny thing about that thar syndicated article, the more RankBrain sees it, the more important RankBrain thinks it is.

Spun content works. As others have pointed out, Google still cannot effectively judge the "quality" of content it sees. It can only check it for plagiarism, which should not be a problem if you spin it to a high degree. However, the danger of using spun content for your PBN lies in its readability. A lot of spun content (unless it is manually spun) has very poor readability. If a domain in your PBN ever gets manually reviewed (which happens quite often nowadays), the poor quality spun content will be an immediate giveaway that the domain is part of a PBN. This can obviously lead to very big problems for your PBN and the money sites it links to.

Depends on domain and authority site allready has i wouldnt put strictly spun content on the site have a mixture of well written and spun.

Spun content is so annoying when you're genuinely searching for something on Google and end up on a page with spun content.

What if the spun content is taken from scientific studies? Will it still be BS? 😊

OP's been here for half a year and he goes ahead and makes a brazen statement like that, neither supported by proof nor any sort of common sense.

This is just as moronic as people saying PBN's don't work no more.
Spinning is not a constant - articles can be autospun or manually spun - a quality manually spun article will ALWAYS work.

Result on what? It depends on what your intent is. Like what others have contributed, spun content is useless for Adsense clicks (or anything that focuses on getting conversions).

But since you talked about PBNs then the only difference is how easy it is to index. Unique content allows you to index the page quite easily. Spun content makes it harder to do so (since dupe content is everywhere so you need decent tier2s and indexing services).

As for how strong the link is, there's no difference. An indexed link is a link. Google doesn't "add in" the strength of a link because the content surrounding it is unique. My two cents.

Well yeah, unique content is always better. But there is some good software that will spin a plr article like you wouldn't believe. I use it for my sites that use social traffic, not search but still get dripa of organic traffic surprisingly.

spun content perform better
unique content perform much better

I agree with you, I used spun content for PBN, the results were good as posting manual content(I used for tire 1 links).

Spun content works. I have tested this multiple times.

Can you say readable content is better? yes

But you cant say spun content doesn't work.

I would never use spun content on my PBN's anymore, that is a dead giveaway for a manual reviewer to go ahead and investigate you, but spun content works great, especially if you create doorway pages and you use a tool to redirect that traffic to and offer, squeeze page or what have you.

You have tested it, how did you test it, what was the competition like, how much content did you use, how did you spin it, questions, question, questions....
