Does anyone have (or know) of spreadsheets for various VA assignments they're willing to share? To-do list/assignments? Step-by-step lists or tutorials?

I've seen quite a few ones for managing PBNs. However, I haven't really seen any other ones. I'm interested in how other people manage tasks, etc for their VAs.

I'd also like to save some time and get some ideas from other folks.

What is a VA assignment?

Like.... performing keyword competition analysis, creating social media accounts, creating PBN domains, uploading photos from a file to Imgur, responding to contact form submissions, checking that a network is functioning properly, etc.

Thanks for the info. Does the VA stand for anything? I assume the A = analysis. V = victory? V = vital? V = vajayjay?

Stands for virtual assistant... i.e. people you assign time consuming but essential work you don't want or don't have time to do yourself.

You can create one spreadsheet which is editable between you and your VA. Daily update the worksheet or docs file with work so your VA can check the details and start working on it and end of the day he/she will report you what is done with they way of docs. So you got to know work status and corrections if required. Either use trello for daily updates.

The ones that I use are for the most part created on a case-by-case basis depending on the task (account creation, etc.). Not sure how useful they'd be if I dumped that info with no context.

Anyone recommend me a place to find VA's?

On BHW there's the Hire a Feelancer section as well as a few services in the marketplace from people who run agencies.

Upwork can be decent as well.

The main thing that I'd note is that VAs tend to be able to do tasks if you explain them very explicitly/specifically. But they usually don't have direct/previous experience in whatever you're asking them to do (or if they do have that experience, they don't really understand the bigger picture). Make sure you've got a good system that even an inexperienced person can follow.

Here are some great tips that work for me I have 3 full time VA's by the way:
1. Document on repetitive processes ( I documented how to create reports and send to my clients )
2. use screen recording software and document for them
3. have one VA train all the others ( be the leader )
4. Only have them do tedius tasks that do not require them to contact your clients

3. have one VA train all the others ( be the leader )

To elaborate on that, one thing that can be very helpful if you have the budget is to hire a real team of actually skilled people, ideally people who you can meet with in person. The kinds of people who are going to cost closer to $20 to $30 per hour instead of $1 to $3. Actually build a real team of skilled people who can then become your managers. If you want to scale your business, building up a managerial team is one of the best investments you can make in the long term.

For contacting clients. Always check the details before sending them that his email is or contact details is not there.

On this I want to say.
If you get cheaper than $20-30 and they can do the same task in less time with efficient way then why you will pay $20 instead of $5 per hour.

To be managers. Permanent long term employees who can run your operations at a higher level.

Yes for the managers also. But the VA team would be under and his own place.

Oh yeah -- yes, once you have managers you can then bring in cheap outsource labor that those managers can, you know, manage. The point is that managing cheap/inexperienced laborers is a whole job in and of itself. In terms of long term growth, having a managerial team that can manage your VAs/administrators/other is important well worth the cost.
