My friend thinks that those spray-on sunscreens with the "misters" are dangerous as the oil is atomized so small that it can be breathed into the lungs and cause chemical pneumonia, which can be fatal particularly for children.

Whether it's true or not, I think people will be researching this text more frequently and reading whatever articles show up on Google.

On a similar note, there is a huge story going on right now about styrofoam cups and cancer.

I'm throwing this here to see what happens.

Created Meaning: That is the topic for a while. Until things change, I suppose, one way or another.

Created Meaning. The notion that the quality behind the Value, the MEANING may not be as deep and self-evident as we might sometimes believe when considering what our Values might be.

For example, we might reflect on the topic of National Health Care and consider whether we are in favor of it or not. <Yes, I know it gets really complex here; I'll do another article on this whole area someday..$$)

If we look at what we imagine the world might look like WITH National Health Care, and then look at that same world, the only thing different between them being that it is WITHOUT National Health Care, compare the two, decide which of the two we would prefer (if we had the ability to make a choice <we don't, and that's yet another article ..$$$>, choose the prefered one (in our imagination) and then walk backward to the decision in order to explain how you got there.

(Here's where the "Created Meaning" comes in.)

What we never remind ourselves, after making this decision, is that we never really GOT there at all. We put ourselves their arbitrarily and with compunction. The test WITH vs. WITHOUT wouldn't have been fair without imagining both options. That's NOT "Meaning", that was the false exercise of a test. If the test had gone the other way, you still would have imagined yourself there, at the "chosen" option.

You didn't "choose", you were compelled to imagine the alternative as a requirement for a test. No imagining, no test results means more unknowns and pending questions. You imagined your "choice" only because you were forced to do so by your anxieties and your laziness. (It ain't hard to sit on your ass and "imagine", so you get no credit from the Working Man or Women. <notice the singular:plural relationship. Yet another article.>

So, much of our imagining is done on the TV set, so we are even more distant from our "values" than that.

Created Meaning means that it exists outside of the normal space-time contiuum. It means that someone has decided it will be so because it will be so, and for no other reason than that. Unless you want to believe that the only reason why things are they way they are is because anything different than this is worse.

These are some of MY meanings, that *I* am attempting to create. If someone else has done this then it is a question of influence vs. spontaneous creation. Einstein worked in a patent office.
