Hi. Just wanted to see if you have the same experience with getting royalties. While spotify pays them regularly, still months behind from getting anything from Deezer and Tidal. Does anyone have different situation?

I have the same situation. Spotify is the most reliable source. Tidal - it depends on the month but usually is about 280 days after the streaming month. Deezer usually after 6 months. I also have some doubts that Tidal calculates royalties and play count correctly. To recap, spotify is the most reliable income source, yet the most risky.

agree, especially if you use distro

Yeah Tidal and Deezer take the longest, upwards of nine months. Well, not counting the publishing/songwriting royalty collection, heh. That can be upwards of two years depending on the writer's society and territory.

I also find it unacceptable that they haven't developed artist portals so that we can see next day analytics from music promotion.

At least Apple Music and Spotify can give you a sense on if external promotion through Facebook or Google Ads is working. But even then they don't have attribution in the analytics so it's impossible to see # of streams were a direct result of a PPC campaign.
