Just started to look into this as I have been asked by a friend on ideas to promote his band.

Anyone with any experience of using bots on Spotify? Was it worth it? Did it help with natural growth or not?

Any ideas tips tricks or warnings greatly appreciated

Botting for independent artist worked great back in the days but now it only work for major labels

Yea it still works I know guys that are earning big doing this but you need a whole lot of tracks to be undetectable. You can also get banned a whole lot of time. But you have to be resilient

I have heard this a couple of times. Lots of songs with semi low botted views. Keep the amount each song is listened to random and try and get real views as well.

It depends on which bots you mean, if you just want to buy wiretaps somewhere, then this is a bad option, if you mean bots that perform actions for a person and create the right behavioral factors, then it works! I use 10 android phones with a paid Spotify subscription, I have created automated software that uses a Pc to control the phone, searches for the tracks I need through the search and downloads them, I have 3 pcs, 10 phones each.

It's all true about bans, we need a large database of tracks so that there are fewer chances to catch locks, etc., the most important thing is not to wind up too much) I lost 1,000 tracks in a month((

since spotify update on april 2024 spotify botting is dead
The first step is to find a safe bot, then you will need a proxy, and finally invest in quality accounts. Everyone says that you can no longer do streaming farms, but you can. I have been doing it for 3 years and have had no problems. But everything has its own way of doing it.

Plenty of experience botting Spotify and other streaming platforms. The additional streams definitely help bands/artists/podcasts get noticed as their ranking gets pushed up and they become visible to more people.

Tips and tricks though.... definitely develop your own method/process. Anonymity is key and you can't have that utilizing someone else's way.
