Spoonfeeding does NOT work

I've never spoon fed someone a method but I have spoon fed my friend a blueprint for a comfortable $600-$800 side job. He worked a 8-12 hour job in sales, hell on earth, said he wanted a change and yada yada. With my proven blueprint he would be earning twice what he was earning over there in that dump, from home, in half the hours. I know the numbers sound weird but it's a developing country. Anyway, not only did the same thing happen as with OP and several others who shared their experience here, but my best friend at the time asked me 'Well if it's such a great opportunity why aren't you doing it???'
I wasn't really interested in being a fucking VA at the time but he would not believe me that it's possible to earn money by making wordpress/typing in information/spinning content for people and what not for a couple of hours every day.
And that's like the basic of the basic shit. He thought I was bullshitting him. He is still freezing his ass off every morning waking up at 5 to go stack boxes because he didn't even care to learn 5 simple tasks and call people who I know would employ him.
You can't help people who are content with the shit they are in.

As @dabz5 excellently put it:
Those who really want something will find the way.

Spoon feeding only works if the person in question is able to perform the most basic disciplines. A millionaire can give a person a step to step guide to become rich, but it will be wasted if the person is not willing to do the work.

It's all mentality in the end. If it's not right, then it ain't gonna happen.

That's why we still got so many ignorant people in the world, even though information nowadays is a click away... ( just remember the days when information was only for the rich, as the poor couldn't buy books/read properly)

Good share. Spoon feeding most certainly does not work. With that being said, I can empathize with people in your friends situation. As a new IM myself, it's hard to know whether you're going toward the right direction. I've build amazon niche site that make no money. I've launched several PPC campaigns that lost money. It's a difficult journey for sure.

To be fair, society doesn't really teach self-sufficiency and self-motivation.

From pre-school through college, students are under the control of a hard-handed boss. Questioning is frowned on, experimentation brings discipline, and the only "responsibilities" are to complete seemingly arbitrary tasks that bring no direct benefit. And in many cases, the same attitude prevails in one's home life as well.

Almost all forms of self-employment require a leadership mentality, but people feel safe with the follower mentality they've been force-fed their whole lives. And thanks to the common myth of 'born leader', everyone who is not born as a leader is predestined to live out their life as a follower.

MLMs exploit this by taking on the leadership role themselves, while simultaneously giving the illusion of self-employment. The self-proclaimed mentors exploit it in the same way, they place themselves as the leader for others to follow, while never giving enough meaningful motivation for their clients to truly break free into self-sufficiency.

Breaking out of that follower mentality is incredibly hard, but it's absolutely required to succeed in any business. Unfortunately, getting to that point requires more than empty platitudes, or self-help books, or 'all billionaires follow this schedule', it requires deep self-reflection and a willingness to act on what you see.
Do you think home schooling kids is the way to go? I quite agree with what you have said. I love your avatar. It is popping out of my computer, How did you do that?

Edit: I believe spoon feeding does work, but it depends on the person being spoonfed. They have got to have interest in what you are spoonfeeding them and personality does matter. As ability to stay disciplined and work without supervision from a boss is neccessary.
