I have been thinking of ways to make money on my website and I thought about getting sponsors, where people pay you to place advertisements on your website.

Does anyone here do this, do you have many sponsors and how much do you charge.

I'm currently searching for some sponsors but I don't know what to charge them, i'm probably looking for $25 for a month.

Well this is great way to earn money by finding sponsors for your site. I am not sure about charge but. $20 to $35 is normal rate as far I know. I hope you earn some moeny from there.

Yes, it is a good way to earn something and I feel the rate specified here is not much. But the question is how do you get one to sponsor you? It depends on lot of factor, mainly among them are a) Traffic flow and b) content (which if good will bring traffic).

I think adsense is better sponsor.
If you place adsense ads in right place woth right colors your CRT will be 50-70% !!!

I just use AdSense. The good thing about AdSense is that if I send more people to my site, then I get paid more.

To answer your question, yes i do this. i charge various amounts.
