Spinning Articles

Can somebody explain the idea behind spinning articles and publishing them. How does that affect seo ?

The whole point of spinning articles is to create multiple unique versions of an article that Google will index and view as different from each other.

So for example say you have an article and spin 100 different versions of it. Well in theory when you publish them, Google will think it is 100 different articles rather than 1, and then hopefully index them all, thus allowing you to gain more backlinks pointing to your site which is good for SEO.

Basically spinning is a way to leverage your existing articles and time. Sure they aren't always the best when it comes to language when you are done, but usually you would use spun content more for creating links to your sites than providing the content for people to read.

If you spin them correctly (I manually rewrite phrases and sentences), they can still be high quality. It takes more time than just letting the program swap out synonyms though. It takes me a few hours to write each one.
