You're right that was a bit harsh. I'm sorry. I was annoyed that there was a thread on another forum offering it cheaper then here. You explained the politics to me via PM and that sucks. I found a discount on the site for wp-robot owners so I already bought it (last night). That was a 30 dollar lesson to me. That being said I like the product so I am ok with it.
Regarding discount for the new SC - although we haven't discussed actual prices yet, what we can say for sure is that if you buy SC Elite now, the cost of SC Elite + the small cost of upgrading to SC II will be less than the cost of SC II itslf.

The interface of spinnerchief elite is really clunky. It's going to take some getting used to but it has a lot of features at least. The whole paid thesaurus thing is unclear to me. Do I need to buy one or is the built-in cloud thesaurus good enough?
Yes the interface is a bit outdated,but when the new version is released you will have a new fancy interface to play with
The paid thesauruses are more for people that wants to use the free spinner with some added languages without buying the elite version.
YOu have both the cloud thesaurus and the Miracle Thesaurus - you don't need any more than that.
