I'm trying to get some really high quality spinning done while I'm on the plane.

He said that they have nothing decided on pricing or discounts. He said that if I was at all hesitant I just shouldn't buy it.

I have no problem paying for an update if its going to add a lot of functionality. However, I DO have a problem with paying 50% or 100% of the initial purchase price for something if I could have just waited and paid the same amount for the entire new package.

So, I'd really like to know if I'm going to be paying a relatively small sum to upgrade or essentially the price of a new product. I wish they would tell me as they're just losing a sale by not doing so.

(I know it's not cool to act like you care about sales on BHW but in real world business you try to make every customer as happy as possible.)

The .net one is the one I like. I used the free version of it before I bought The Best Spinner. It's solid IMO. Maybe the best freebee one.

Small thumbnail on the first post,that's where you can see the new look of SC,more information will soon be released.

What i can say is,the price can go up on the Elite after the new version is released,due to a lot of added functions.

About Starting SC up and verify it on the server before you board the plane can work,i need to get confirmation on this to be able to give you the correct answer for this.I will provide you with the information as soon as i have tested it.

It was aj113 and okay please get back to be ASAP about that. I need to buy it before the 18th so the sooner the better. So long as it can work offline after verifying earlier on my laptop you have a guaranteed sale here. Any BHW discounts btw?
 
You can use SC offile btw if you activate it before you board the plane

Hmm. Well I think asking if it is going to be a separate software with a separate price tag is a legitimate question, especially if it's coming out relatively soon.

If you buy SC Elite now then you will be cheaper out then to wait untill the new version is released.It will be cheaper to upgrade your Elite than to wait untill the new version is released.


If you want to use SC on a plane then this is how you should do it:
1.Start up SC with internet connection
2.Load the thesaurus you want to use
3.Then you have to let SC run and do not close it.
4.Be aware that you can NOT change thesaurus when you are on the plane because then you need internet.

Great but that does mean that I could use the magic thesaurus plus the regular one to do more in depth spinning right? Or do you have to load the magic thesaurus and the regular one separately?

Are you the software author? How much will the new version cost? Also how much will the upgrade cost if one buys it now. I already own spinnerchimp and TBS but after reading this thread and doing some research I would be willing to buy the elite. Also is there a BHW discount?

As has already been stated, tghe only eay to use SC Elite offline is to load it up online and don't close it down. Please note, under these circumstances you will not be able to change your thesaurus, because you need to be online to do that.

SC free version will work offline regardless. (You need to log in at least once every 10 days but other than that you don't need to be online).

We can't advise on pricing structure for the new software because we don't even know it ourselves. If you are in any doubt - wait. (But of course all users of paid versions of SC will be entitled to discounts on the new software.)

This dude is way better with support on the warrior forum then here (ignores pm's, actively ignores the thread, doenst offer discounts here that he does on the warrior board).

Any idea when the new version is coming out?
