Spin counter? It's that possible?

It's there any tool to can check how many unique combinations a spin text have?
Ex:
{hi|hello} {man|mate}
hi man, hi mate, hello man, hello mate = 4 comb.

i could have sworn that i have done this before with something, but i can't remember now what was it exactly

one way to do it: input the spintaxed content into an article spinner like spinner chief and set the unique results high enough, wait till its done, then count the articles, don't actually count them, but highlight them with total commander, which shows you the file count or just name the articles using numbers starting from 1, but maybe the article spinner tells you the amount of unique results by default and that's how i remember doing this
