Spilt tea on laptop keyboard... Any advice?

you are able to post on this forum so I guess it's fixed. Nothing bag of rice won't fix
On my old laptop at the minute, other one still teasing me in pieces!

As strange as it may sound, tea doesn't have milk by default.
Fun fact: milk was not put into the tea for flavor originally, but to prevent the cracking of the delicate china cup, when hot tea is poured into it. The tradition sticked and now even-though most cups are heat-resistent, people put milk into their tea for the flavor.
Even massively pissed off i found that pretty interesting, so thanks
"luckily" its brand new so I havent had chance to foul it with my perversions yet

Well yes, just being logical
I think the tea residue and milk if there was any, will probably create contacts between keys and cause the problems that OP has mentioned. If it were water, then it might dry out but being that it was tea, I don't think so. You can get keyboards relatively cheaply - maybe from ebay for example. With most laptops, keyboard replacement is not too difficult - just look it up on YouTube.

Scratched at some things with a screwdriver n lifted some keys up and seems to be fine now, I might have a bright future in laptop repair
