specs for reverse proxy server?

Hi

What should be the specs for reverse proxy server?

I tried with 1vCPU and 1 GB RAM
however I always get 100 cpu usage when I purge the cache of my main server.

Depends on how much traffic you have. I suggest getting a vps with auto scaling option, as traffic doesn’t always remain the same. Flexible hardware will make the operation cost cheaper for you.

Umm I am sorry I am not sure about that. Most probably you will not get a “self” scalable one that ignores dmca. Look in the bhw marketplace for dmca ignored VPSes and before getting one, ask them if they can upgrade the hardware if needed, and what would be the turn around time for scaling up/down.
