Specific Video Monetization?

So I have a bunch of videos I bought views for over the last half year. I bought views from them ONCE, and they continue to gain views several months later. Now, I'm still CURRENTLY buying views for new videos, but want to monetize the old videos.

My question is: Can I choose what videos to enable monetization on? Like, all the videos that are no longer getting fake views - or does everything get monetized straight away? as I don't want to stop buying fake views for new videos yet, but I want to monetize the older videos.

Also, is it safe to do that? or should I stop all fake views completely before starting monetizing older videos?

You can enable monetization on each video individually... not sure about when to enable.. I do it when I upload it.

Awesome. I'd enable it several days after the fake views had finished. But that's me haha. Just want to make sure they're not gonna like.. look at my recent (unmonetized) videos, see the fake views, then ban me lmao.

Gotcha! I only ever bought views once for my anchor video in my tutorials to give it an appearance of being important lol. Once you set up monetization on your account you can edit the video and on the top there will be a tab for monetization and once you click in there you can decide what types of ads and when they will appear.

So advertisements don't just automatically enable when you upload a video? (as in, I upload a video, and send fake views to it to rank, but leave advertisements disabled for it, but enabled for all the other real views on other videos.)

Correct. You enable monetization on the channel just for the chance to do so but then you need to specify monetization on each video and you have the opportunity to decide the type of ads and when they are displayed. I assume there is a science to ad timing and placement but I haven't fully figured that part out yet. I have watched some more popular channels to see what they do and found a few good approaches to try out.

Hopefully this makes sense.. if not I can screenshot it.

you can specify when the ads displayed and put more than 1 ads in a single video if your video is longer than 10 minutes
