I literally have no one I could just call and ask them this question, and the internet is full of almost relevant information as it pertains to my question - so I'm coming to the community for help.
Please help me understand whether my strategy will negatively or positively affect my site's SEO and Domain Authority.
I bought an expired domain, with a DA of 50+
When I checkout all the incoming links it has, many of it's sub-pages (which I do not have, they're currently all broken, ie: 404 errors.) has great Page Authority. 30's, 40's, 50's.
So I scraped the list of 500 URL's or so, and I am about to do the following; (pending the response and advice I get from the community.)
Step 1. Create 500 blank post pages (very low SEO score, as they will be blank) all bearing the URL's of the domains old sub-pages, I will make sure their permalinks will be the same as the old one's I'm trying to re-create.
Step 2. 301 re-direct them all to the main page, while I currently work on populating my new content.
Step 3. Eventually re-direct these lost and old links to the relevant new posts that I will eventually end up creating.
My concern is that if I re-create the lost sub-pages with these blank posts and re-direct them to my main site, then the awful SEO score and low page rank of my blank posts will negatively affect my Domain Authority.
I would love some advice on the matter.
