Specific niche link building?

Hey guys,
I have a pretty new AU (.com.au) blog that is in the pet niche. I'm trying to figure out what the best way to build niche relevant .com.au links. I'm assuming it would be pretty bad to be building .com links? I'd like all of the links to come from relevant sources, from Australia in the pet niche.

Any advice? Or services you know of?

There are tons of guides available on how to outreach niche relevant blogs for securing links that are good for your website. You can find them here with a simple search, learn and try out the methods.

Make sure you're using good contents for these outreaching purpose. Also, you can get some niche relevant .com backlinks for building some authority to your site.

You can get both type of niche relevant back links for your back links diversity.

Recommend you do it yourself and find a competitor and pull his Ahrefs backlinkl profile and then work them via outreach.

Because the blog is fairly new, I've read that I shouldn't be pushing back links too fast. I'm definitely interested in using guest posts to increase the back links because I want most of what I do to be white hat. Because I'm operating a .com.au website do I want all of my links to come from .com.au? Or does google care if my links are on high DA .com websites with high TF?

I've reached out to a few services here in the marketplace for guest posts. Can anyone recommend a launch schedule so I'm not spamming too many links? Or does a slow drip even matter as long as it's all white hat?

For anchor text do I still want to keep my keyword anchor text percentage low on these links like under 3% total even if they are white hat guest posts?

Getting links from .com.au seems logical but this is not mandatory requirement to get ranked. I had one friend website with .au extension which we ranked using services who build nothing but generic link from .com, .net etc
