Hi everyone
I think I'm experiencing a spam backlink attack. I have more and more backlinks coming from spam sites, these backlinks refer to the images on my site "/wp-content/png"
Is there a solution?

if your rankings weren't affected don't bother with it! These links are common lately, lots of sites get them and google usually ignores them, so there's no point in stressing over these links if they didn't harm your site.

And if you absolutely must "get rid" of them... or if they impact your rankings negatively you can use google's disavowing tool, but be warned that it could take several months for google to disavow these links and for your site to see the effects. So prepare to play the waiting game :)

This toxic backlinks can harm your website rangking when Google launch Spam update like August 2023. So kindly disavow this link from Google search console.

Use disavow. I am also facing this issue after that I start using disavow.

You can use Google's disavow tool to submit but it may take several months for Google to process these links and you may not see these effects on your site immediately.

You can use Google's Disavow Tool to inform Google that you don't want certain backlinks to be considered when assessing your site's ranking. Create a list of spammy domains and submit them through the tool.

You can disavow these unwanted backlinks using Google's Disavow Tool. This will inform Google to ignore these links when assessing your site, and you also need tighter security measures on your WordPress site to prevent unauthorized access to your "/wp-content/png" directory.

Create a list of links that build so far using SEMrush and Aherf along with Google search console, once you have the list short list them based on less metrics and submit them using disavow..

To stop those spammy backlinks to your image URLs, you can use tools to tell search engines or work on it manually and disavow them to ignore and keep an eye on things to protect your website's SEO.

These links will never harm you. Act like you have never seen them and just move on.

If you are facing any negative impact on rankings disavow them as advised. You can also focus on adding more high quality links for more link juice.
