I'd recommend using Google Webmaster Tools and checking your site regularly on AHREFS so you can keep a close eye on your back link profile.

    Check this out:
    Code:
    www.ahrefs.com
They will show all the links pointing out to your website and show different graphs and charts using which you can see what kinds of links are being built for your website and keep yourself updated and get the spammy links removed if you see any.

    1. Personally I use a either webmaster tools if I have it on that site or if I am not then ahrefs. Although these will find all your links.

    2. People will have different perspective towards what a spammy link looks like. To me it would one that isnt above a pr1domain that is. (Bearing in mind pr isnt a great thing to reli on.) Also put your backlinks into a mass moz checker to get its pa/da and see if theres anything that strukes you as a spammy link. Also in my opinion most your links should be contextual.

    3. To remove a link you will need to disavow it. Or ask the owner of site.

    4. I metioned that above although I wouldnt have a to high obl.
