Spamming youtube with comments it's officially DEAD

People arguing about random stuff is what increases the engagement level on videos. If anyone wants to spam my videos with arguments or bullcrap i always select "not spam" the comment. Comes back to life and people start arguing about it some more. More Words More Hits More Views More Loot. The moderation power has been around for a long time at least a year, well.. I have had it for over a year on the white hat tube page that's locked in a multi-year contract.

If you guys come across tube accounts that UN-SPAM your comment that might be me, so keep spamming away. Before you ask, I will not un-spam your comments on other accounts not owned by me.

Easy solution. Rank up the Google+ profiles with more juice than leave comments on the videos with those profiles. Always on top.

Also, I see the potential to now upload vids that will get popular just to control your own comment spam. Simple
Upload: fails, news, boob compilations, playlists, etc
Create other accounts, spam comment your own videos, as creator make your comments more important (if such an option comes into effect)
Otherwise I agree with ramenman. G+ just volunteered for more spam ;P

I see these all the time also and wonder...."do people actually fall for this?"... but I am sure some do, why else would there be so much spam? Numbers game I suppose.

Because boobs

YouTube has tried to do lots of funky things with comments over the last few years, the only thing that's really stuck has been the thumbs-up/thumbs-down system.
I don't expect this to be here for more than a couple months, really.

Here's the official article directly from Youtube:

What? are you boosting your post count?

At least he get us motivated to work, 1000% work :)
On topic: As some of you have already noticed from a few days the commenting system is already affected by recency lags. Also, for those curious to see the new coomenting system go on and check machinma's channel (just search on yt) and go to discussion tab, you'll see it live, and will be introduced to all video pages sooner or later. Think how to beat that. The recent comments show up only if you select the all comments from the upper left drop down, either way, yours are buried....

Can you tell us which video on machinma is that? I checked a couple of videos there and the commenting is the still using the old system.

It is not on a video page, check the channel page to see it: user/machinima/discussion , you will notice the new system to get an idea, it may differ from the one to be rolled out on video pages, but basically this it is.... latest comments are gone to make place for what yt considers relevant comments / discussions.

One of the reasons why YouTube took action....I've seen hundreds of them. Sometimes 3 in a row. Smh.

Ugh yeah, if you're gonna spam(like we all do), at least put some effort into it, and find something that people are more likely to acknowledge as real, instead of this BS. As long as it looks innocent(not selling anything, although it is), there's no reason why you shouldn't be making money with YT comments. Also, this system is going to be kinda ridiculous - good blackhatters and those who don't mind doing a lot of the work manually will find a way around this and make bank, or, to phrase it better - keep making bank.

eh, i dont like it. as a regular user not as a spammer. the shit was fine the way it was.

can't they just sit down and chill? they're constantly changing shit

Numbers game I suppose.

it isn't. that's why we have to deal with shit like this. unless of course you're looking for extremely high numbers. you got some guys that can't imagine making $10 without posting 1,000 comments & that's a fuckin' problem

Thanks. Looks like we can even spam that discussion section since there's an upvote/downvote option.

Keep in mind that rating of a comment will not necessarily be the only factor that will make comments stand up, like in the actual system. Account authority / reputation is also taken into consideration, and maybe other factors too. Try to re-read the official released post about the update and you'll see what I mean.

Yeah i know that. I think it still manipulative. Let's see when they fully implement the update.

i already blacklisted "fake" and "survey" under my videos, it has also good sides :D

Being a coder myself there always is a work around, all i see that as is a small setback.

i hope they can prevent 100% automated spam

so we may get some decent traffic with manual labor :d
