Hey guys, I just wanted to share a technique that very well might be old, but is being used by many SEO companies right now within my area.
I've noticed quire a few trusted directory listing hitting the top three positions in google, so I checked the links in ahrefs and it's nothing but pure spam using something like GSA. I'm yet to do this myself but I thought I'd put it out there to see what the response is.

But Whats the technique mate ?
GSA SER posts to directory but i never saw a directory site giving any traffic to me, im not if you posted the thread in detail.
Please elaborate.

ok so you are saying that they are adding local directory sites to GSA...

it works, you just need a trusted domain which will not burn easily.

Sorry guy, I will give more details.

Ok, you have a trusted directory such as Yelp (as an example) and you create a business profile on these trusted business directories. Once you create a business profile you have a url such as yelp.com/somerandomclug/digitsetc

Now, you open a a program like GSA (as an example) and you post 50 links a day - to your business page url - over 2 - 3 months to rank the directory listing page that your business is on.

I don't think I can make that clearer.

Now i understand can you share such trusted directories list if you have ?

I only know Australian ones, but if you're looking in Google then look for Local Business Directories, or Local Business Listings. That should get you a tonne!

I donot think directory work anymore, donot waste time building link and you would have to spend tons of time removing those link.

Yeah, I don't believe in blog submission. It wastes time and money.

FFS, you guys don't get it.

You rank the directory submission itself! I'm not talking about building a tonne of directory submission to point a link to your business site. Geez.

Let me dumb this down further so even your mothers can understand it.

Step 1: You google business director listing sites
Step 2: You create a business page for your business (no link to your site, just a phone number and address)
Strep 3: You build links to your business page on the business directory site.

Get it yet? If not then you're completely useless.

doesn't everyone do this??

I use it mainly for ORM, making it virtually impossible for a neg review to get onto first page of G for my company name, although it helps SEOwise too.
