Spamming Facebook Pages

Hey all you spammers out there.

Just thought I would share something, in case some of you did not know.

I have about 600 pages, and i monitor them daily to remove spam, I hate spammers, but i know that there are many of you here so I'm going to share this with you all. Only because I have learned so much from this site, otherwise it would make no sense.

If you post spam on a page, the admin now not only has the option to remove the post, but to ban you from the page, however if you make a comment on another persons comment they can remove it but cannot ban you.

I ban all the spammers to my pages, and I'm sure many other people are now doing that, I'm sure that if you get banned from enough page, it will tiger a review or a road block with FB, so post comments on the comments of others peoples post to the wall, this will avoid you getting banned.

Lol I honestly don't know why I'm sharing this, because it already takes me 30 minutes a day to moderate the pages ha-ha.

I dont spam, but I push offers.

I wont/dont comment on others posts on pages, but I am sure some here do and your tip I an sure is useful to them.

LOL at first I thought you were going to bash spammers and tell us to stop, but to my amazement you gave a method that helps! I don't spam on facebook, but thanks for the information!

You are wrong. You can flag the post. Once you do that, you have two options: Undo and Report. If you click on report, you can report the post as spam/abusive etc. and you HAVE the option to permanently ban the user and remove all content they have posted.

If what you are saying was true - we would be able to post TONS of comments to posts by big pages and get away with it. Well, unfortunately, this is not the case.

unless you are fully legit i would not report anything, they look at the reporters account as well as the account your reporting.

I lost some really valuable accounts doing that sort of shit, plus what sort of Karma do you think you will get if you report other people doing the same thing you are (just trying to make some money).......trust me Karma is a bitch and what is the point in doing anyway, you could spend 8 hours a day reporting stuff and still only be reporting .000000000001% of the spam on facebook, just use your time to push your offers more.

Moral is, if you report accounts using your accounts, you will also lose out (GUARANTEED)

that's why the ban user function is F++++++ great. I'm killing the roots and its a better place for the members of the page, they use the page more, plus they only see my offers and not some ass-whole who is spamming my page.

I lost about $300 this time last year because of some guy spamming a farmville page i had, it was the largest for about 4 months, 2 months in he made a program that would spam the page with a post every 3 minutes, and it took well over half my traffic, if not more.

Yeah I assure you they always look at a few hundred reporters' accounts in addition to the reported account... LOL

And I always report spammers when they happen to post on any of my pages, be it legit or not. Because they steal my traffic. And I've automated 99% of it, because being a blackhatter myself, I can easily detect all posts by "colleagues".

My actions represent 0,01% of the actions needed for deletion of page/ban of fake account, I just protect my pages, that's all. I'm sure all of you would do the same. I can't just delete a post without banning the user, because they will post again. I also have a lot of whitehat pages and believe me - if you have some - you WILL understand me.

hate is a strong word, i would say more like irritated, i don't spam if by spam you mean post on walls, message do updates etc. I have hundreds of avenues of small traffic that i don't have to do anything for and that will never die out, the volume just keeps getting higher and higher the longer they are up. just by having a relevant link on the description or recent news.

Of course i am fully aware of the black hat methods that could be making me 20 times what I'm getting now, but believe me this is much more stable, way more moral, way less stressful and a whole lot less likely to ever get busted by FB.

So no i don't hat these spammers, they just cause me a little extra work each day, but hey i started out by spamming my arse off on facebook about 3 years ago, with a site called yuwie. I got 40k people to join that site in 45 days, well i got 18k and that grew in to 40k within a few months, and now its over 70k, so i have no ill feelings, lol that's why i told them how not to get banned from a page when spamming, i think that would normally show that i don't care.
