Hi.

Is spamming Facebook, Truelocal, Hotfrog, Twitter profiles with GSA tools sparks penalization issues on their respective link along the way? Will these type of sites be penalized in doing such?

Do you mean you want to "negative SEO" pages on these authority websites (either to have it backfire and raise the page's position or to lower its position)? Google can give out manual action partial match penalties for unnatural links, although I would imagine that when Facebook or another major website is concerned, Google would simply ignore the spammy backlinks pointing to one of their billions of pages (resulting in that particular page either showing an increased position or not moving at all in the SERPs).

I can see my competitor is using this type of tool spamming their Facebook pages, Business profile listing like BBB.org and other high authority listings they have and they really ranked well. They've been on #2 #3 #5 on their listing profiles and #1 spot on their main site(they didn't use GSA tool on their money site, only whitehat). I don't think Google would simply ignore these type of spammy links. What do you think?

There basically parasite links nobody really knows how long they might stick.

They've been there for quite some time now. 1 year+, I guess.

You can spam parasites and they wont be penalized.

Im trying this out with FB pages and after 3 days and about 3k total links the page went from nowhere to #3 - #6 for 3 keywords.

They are low comp but its really that easy. Just build contextuals to them then blast the contextuals with the normal GSA spam.

So they're not the only one. Maybe I'll give it a try.

Any ones in here had tried spamming their profile listing pages with blackhat tools? Any clear down side along the way?

So you build a FB page, blast it with 3k links and then the FB page rank on spot #3 right not your money page?

See tommy's Parasite Guide, it seems to work then :)

Unless f00gl3 goes around slapping these pages, they will stick, won't they? Or they will get their algorithm ban hammers and fire away on these parasite pages?

Yes the FB page not my money site.

I do link to the money site on the FB page.

Read t0mmys guide for more information http://www.blackhatworld.com/blackhat-seo/making-money/702089-parasites-pwn-leeching-authority-sites.html

Sure spam these, just do it with head, not random links with random anchors. And they will rank with spam links due authority of whole site. :)

From tracking my local market (in Asia) for about about one and a half year now where facebook fan pages has been dominant, I have not seen a website getting penalized for it (This is across ~15 industries/markets). The only significant change was other actual competitorsite.com outranking these parasites.

Were they all parasites having spammy backlinks?

This all sounds like it would have great ORM benefits (in the case where you want to increase the position of the parasite pages for a client or yourself). I'm going to do a bit more research and read Tommy's guide since I have a client who might be interested in having this done for them.

Yes, parasites can take spam links better than your own domains, however, ranking wise, they may or may not work. Its all about hit and miss.

Google won't penalise big sites like Facebook no matter what they do or is done on their domains. Even if they penalise them, the penalty won't last for more than a few days.

This is very true, I tried this method with a FB page and after 1 week and almost 20k links (tier 1, 2, and 3) it never touched the top 200.

Tried it again with a new page, same niche and it started ranking after a few days.

If the parasite does not start ranking after some time just make a new one and start over.

Yes, they were all spam using mainly GSA. That is as far as I know since I don't use this technique for my employer nor my personal websites. My additional thought on this is that if the keyword has parasites ranking on page 1 then that keyword is still relatively easy for a money site to rank.
