Yes low spam score sites are good for ranking. If you build high spam score backlinks it is affected your site ranking.

But even Wikipedia has a spam score of 10% but ranks well. isn't it because of the DA?

10% is low spam score only and wikipedia is an authority site.

Yes that Authority matter. If the site has great authority then it would be great.
Having a Authority like wikipedia 10% spam score is nothing.

As has been said (or written) many a time before, metrics produced by companies such as Moz and ahrefs are not metrics that Google uses. They are just guesses as to how Google might consider a website.
So no, Moz's Spam Score doesn't matter for ranking. Its just an indicator based on what someone at a company thought Google might be doing at some time in the past.

You should take spam score into account, low spam always good for your website. More spam will get you blog deindex from search engines too.
