The spam score is a matrix that Moz uses not google and does not impact ranking. Also, it is not a ranking factor. So ignore it. Even there are websites that are ranking and moz shows the spam score as 70%.

I have removed spammy links and working on user experience.
By Social Media , Did you mean creating a page and posting links on them. What social sites do you recommend apart from facebook, twitter , reddit and pinterest . It would be helpful. Thanks

I have heard similar things from many members. But I am not sure if google consider it or not. There must be something wrong thatswhy moz has increased the spam score. So , it is not a bad idea to investigate it. Smile

Moz only focuses on Backlinks. If you have backlinks with high spam scores, it will also increase that. But it ignores other factors. Also the same for DA and PA. But if your website is ranking even without high DA and PA Why will you focus on these things? And also I f you start ranking it boosts your Authority. Keep your focus on improving the ranking along with Google Ranking factors.

This is helpful. I am following these steps. But having some issues in contacting site owners as some of them never reply. I am building good links and the site is getting more traffic. The spam score is reduced to 20 now. I think I should more quality links .Thanks
