Saw multiple spam links inside ahrefs built for a clients website with the following anchor text

"rankexperience.com => massive linkbuilding"

links have been first seen from 30th Jun 2020.

no change in rankings though. will be disavowing the links.

anyone has experienced/seen such spam links from rankexperience dot com?

Brother I do not need any backlink service.

I would advise you to STOP selling/offering your service by hijacking threads.

it seem's you have joined BHW just today and should hold your horses.

please visit https://www.blackhatworld.com/account/upgrades if you want to sell/offer your services.

Best Regards.

Most probably it's banned from google
So, dissavow will be the best option in my opinion

Assuming this isn't your service, it looks like a version of the old referrer spam trick. It's a way of free marketing. The way referrer spam works is they send a bunch of bot traffic with the URL of a traffic generation site to your site. You see it in your analytics, then go to the site and purchase their services (their hope at least).

This looks like a different flavor of the same thing. They blast your site with links, you see it in your link reports, and hopefully buy their service. At least, that's what I thought until I checked out their site and saw that they only accepted payment via bitcoin. Likely a scam, almost guaranteed garbage links.

this is not referrer spam... these are spam backlinks aimed towards my clients websites... have ranked my clients dental website for all service keywords in his service area as well as surrounding areas and the website has overthrown all previous ranking dental websites... seems some shithead competitor ordered this negative SEO (mass spam links) towards my clients website... on showing these links to my dental client he named the potential culprit (competitor) without any delay... will disavow these links and throw in some high quality niche edit links now...

I wasn't suggesting it was referrer spam, just that it was a similar concept to referrer spam in that it's marketing their service in a similar way (if it's not an outright scam, which I'd bet it is). Point a bunch of links with advertising anchor text to the site so the site owner will check out their "service" when they see the data in their reports.

I suppose it could be intentional negative SEO, but it's a terrible attempt. Agree on disavowing, just to be safe, especially if the links are indexed.

it looks like building spam using network of servers
or might be rankexperience.com is purposely putting such anchor so that while business owner check their backlinks; they visit rankexperience.com and they will get lead

@SEO,

Yes this is definitely intentional negative SEO... see their website where they have put BTC address for payment... unfortunately such loosers exist in this competitive SEO world...

yes will be disavowing these links...

I'm definitely not ruling out the possibility of negative SEO, but I doubt someone would spend $500 USD to buy such obviously footprinted links. Also, that wallet doesn't have any activity:

Either way, we'll never really know. If someone paid for that negative SEO, then you got very lucky, because that'll be easy to clean up.

I just noticed this on not one, but TWO client websites!

One is a current client of mine, and another is a local business who I'm attempting to court as a client.

" rankexperience.com => massive linkbuilding " is seen in Ahrefs.

It was from some weird Japanese blog. I'm furious. Anyone else seeing this?

it not normal posting links on here!

what your doing is promoting them more.

best delete all website links you added on here there not needed.

blackhat world staff could ban you for self-promoting.

you need to explain the situation without posting the links ok...

I found a ton of these backlinks on a client site today, showing up on Ahrefs, discovered all at the same time (2 or 3 days) - thats suspicious right away. All the crappy TLDs, and the same anchor text as the OP mentioned. I thought it might just be a scraper or referrer spam, but it smells like a weak negative SEO attempt. Main thing is, they're not showing up on GSC, so I'm not too concerned yet, but definitely keeping an eye on it now.

I am also seeing these links on three different sites hosted on the same server (Vultr/ Cloudways). Almost all the links are from blogspot.com and a few from .ru and .ro. Similarly, all links created over the last 6 days up to a few hours ago.

Several of our client's legal sites are being attacked daily with java script links. I also saw on their Official Facebook page that there are complaints from a lawyer demanding they stop spamming his website. I have a look and see every lawyers sites on first page of the Google has all links from this same company and trustpilot has a bunch of negative reviews saying they in Ukraine and is BOTS!

I am glad he posted this. I don't think he is promoting anything. He is helping expose this scammers. We need to take down these spammers who are attacking all sites on page one of Google with trash links from e blogger.

I think he is just some idiot trying to advertise.
One of my sites got 2 javascript links from this idiot, with anchor text showing his website, and that site is not in a niche where it would be negative SEO'd.

yes these links are not shown in GSC... but then GSC does not show us all backlinks... if the spam link is indexed than that's an issue and its better to disavow these spam links...

I've seen this on not only my own site, but also my top two competitors

Just discovered the same thing. In fact they appear one of the leading sites in my client's niche. That reassures me its nothing to lose sleep over.
