Spam email lawsuit

But who pays if they lose? And lawyers aren't free also.
I don't wanna scare you, my friend.

There are 2 options they may do:
A) Say, if the complainant sues your affiliate company and loses... They will later sue you later in your county/province/region to get the sum back.

B) They pass your info to the complainant. If they decide to take further action, they may sue you later in your province/county/region.

There are several ways you can proceed now...
A) ignore and hope for the best it doesn't escalate
B) Lawyer up and prepare for the lawsuit
C) If you have the complainant's email, email them directly and apologize and hope they will give you a chance. Say that you're totally new and this is your first time (and maybe you got bad advice to do this). Then hope for empathy and let you go. Still, this option is risky as you're emailing the complainant which exposes your identity and may implicate you further.

This really sounds serious. I wish you the best.
