Spam Control in BHW

Now in the days of the bot there is no 100% sure way to block all spam. You could say they have to have 1000 post and they will go and start responding to regular threads to get post count up. Its an on going process.

But I for one say the mods do a pretty darn good job of keeping them in check. I have been around a little while and have seen a thing or two on here.

Considering that the thread titles are templated, could you keep the astronomer out by limiting threads with more than x hyphens in the title?

I am almost sure that he is just doing it for some kind of a revenge, and not actually for advertising. If he is doing this for advert, he must be a horrible marketer lol. Actually, I also think that whoever is posting this spam is actually impersonating the "real guru" who's fb profile can be found with little research.
 
Guys, I have an idea.

Can someone just not put a script on which he gets messages from random numbers everyday on his phone number? Since the number he puts in the threads is his whatsapp number.

Second thing can be done with cheap calls service, which calls him automatically late night time in India. I think that should do :)

So the spammers and new members are able to post and someone like me a paying VIP can’t post? I don’t even see post a new thread and I asked someone else to try from her computer and she could not see it. We used Mac, windows, cell phones and still can’t post a newthread

I'm sorry but everything in the link you sent me does not apply, I'm not new, I'm JrVIP, I have disabled the adblocker on this website, refreshed and tried it on all browsers ... I submitted a ticket and they told me they know this is an issue and they are working on it but its been a week and nothing
