Sourcing images for use on site

Ive been working on my first site for a bit now, and it's starting to take shape. Only issue is It could use some pictures to make it more modern looking and I was wondering how you guys go about finding pictures to use on your sites? Do you pay for a stock image service? do you just use pictures from google and just delete them if you get in copyright trouble? looking for a little push in the right direction, thanks!

There are some good deals from time to time on stock photos from Deposit Photos which was $49 for 100 images and Stockumlimited which was an unlimited 3 year licence.

I've been using https://www.pexels.com/ for a while now. Since it's free, you will eventually run into an issue where they don't have an image you are looking for. But they keep getting more images over time.

Yup, I've been using bosy Pixa Bay and Unsplash on my client websites and I have never failed to find something I need.

Its important to use images that are free of patent issues and other legal strings, to save you from penalties and also get ranking for your images. There are sites that offer free images like Pixabay and PicJumbo that you can use to easily download pictures without spending strenously

I find this question very interesting, as I am also struggling to find some free pictures for my website. Aside from picture, I was also considering to get free music, as I am planning to upload couple of educational videos. Any suggestions here?

DEPENDING ON YOUR NICHE, If you want a more uniform look, I suggest you try FREE ICON sites. There are lots of free icon sites that can make your posts look more uniform and professional.
