Profiles Creation

Are there any other sources? Did i miss any? I would love to know about new methods.

Here Three Major Source for Getting Backlinks:
Social Bookmarking: It is an easy way to get backlink by submitting website link in number of web 2.0 social bookmarking sites.
Content Posting: Article submission and press release is one of the genuine sources to get backlinks. Submission of unique and quality articles or news releases in high PR directories will help.
Forum Signature: It is also one of the best source to get backlinks by making link in signature.
 
Authenticly 'quality' links will often come from authorities in your niche and you will not be able to just go and 'take' one or program a bot to get them.

Nearly ALL the links mentioned so far are cheap, next-to-useless spam.

BEST quality links will be from other high authority websites. You can do this by purchasing high PR domains and turning them into blogs and using them to link to your sites.
