What is a good source for cheap unique keyword specific articles (no spinning, no PLR etc). I tried elance.com but that tends to be pretty expensive. It doesn't have to be stellar, it just needs to make sense and be on topic. I've also heard horror stories about Craigslist.

I did search around with the search bar and got lost reading about tons of cheap items... no articles though.

Thanks,
Dave

check this out:

Code:
http://need-an-article.net/

costs $10 a month to join and about $5/500 words $10/1000 words and turnaround is always less than 48 hours. That's my article source anyway.

I search for writers on forums. I paid $4/500 words for 30 unique (no spinning) articles.
Try searching IM-related forums.

Bruce: are they good quality articles?

I use getafreelancer but you have to be careful, ask to see peoples work first and then get them to write you a 300 word article on a subject even before selecting them.

Then take that article apart and try and work out if it is a copy and past job or a direct copy. Make sure the article flows, I can't write for shit and my sentences never flow and most of the time I sound like a 10 year old after 2 cans of coke. I want the article to be easy to read and flow well and be interesting to read. Try and think like one of your readers, Is the article striking home or is a mindless rant does it have a good to action and make you want to know more by clicking your link, and would you be interested to read it if you where reading up in that niche.

I pay around $5 per article but I order in small bulk eg 50 sets at a time as well as making sure that once you find a good writer you stick with them or at least get a good hand picked team of writes that you can work with :-)

The writers' work at Need an article dot net can range from "just nearly shit" to "pretty darn good".

You need to try a few out and assess for quality and consistency.

They have an article limit of 45 article requests/orders in a week.

Cheerio.:)

To get an article written is $5 or sumthing

was just wondering. cause there are other article site, but no monthly fees.

Thanks for the info, gifmore

what other article sites are you talking about? I'm not really familiar with any others...

I've only tried one article site: hyyp://www.forum*booster.net/index.php
I have to say, they are pretty crap.

Now I'm just using writer from forums. JohnDae is right, find a good writer, and stick with them. The only thing is I find them quite slow.

There are so many other article writing site, I did a search on google, and there are heaps.
But I have no experience with those ones, sorry.

JohnDae is right, find a good writer, and stick with them.

I agree, i would spend $50+ to hire/test article writers on some of the more popular sites and find a writer that works for you.

whats there prices I could not work it out only prices i could see where for rewrites or plr placks

The DP forum has tons of article writers who write articles for $4/500 words etc.

I personally use 3-5 US based writers who write at the rate of $2/500 words.

If you want quality content then freelance it, that's a general response though. No rewriting software can give quality articles but some can give you content that would have some value seo-wise. There's a method around here about using Google translator for example.
