Hello everyone.
Firstly as this is my first post here under this username (I was here some time ago - years I think now, with the username ejmjs but for the life of me can't remember the email used or the password), I'd like to say thanks for having me
Hope everyone here is well.
In the past I've dabbled with IM, some Whitehat and some Blackhat stuff but never really got anywhere, and it's been that long ago now that I'm out of date and have forgotten the majority of what I'd learned along the way anyway.
Over the past few years, as a hobby mainly, I started producing music using Ableton and loved the creative process and having a finished product that I'd created for myself and a few others to enjoy. I have found myself over time though wishing I could widen my audience and bring my music to a larger audience. I use Soundcloud as many do but I struggle to even get any plays at all. I'd love to be able to get plays, likes, shares, comments etc. I don't claim to be a top artists or anything like that, I still have a lot to learn, but I do think there's a larger audience that if they listened to my music, some would like it. I suppose it's more to make me feel good than to make any money from but the dream is always that right? To make money from something you love doing?! Anyway to start with at least, I'd just love to get some extra interaction. There's quite a anticlimax currently after I complete a track.
So you wonderful people.... do you have any tips, suggestions, ideas on how to go about achieving this? Has anyone else had a similar scenario to this in the past? What did you do to improve? I'd share my soundcloud page for reference but I don't think that's allowed based on the rules I read.
I know this a little longer than some posts so thanks for taking the time to read it, and thanks in advance for any replies that come my way.
